POETRY AT THE LIBRARY
Would you like to be a part of a regular poetry get together event hosted by local writer and poet Caroline Tuohey?
Come along and read a poem (either your own work or that of another writer) or simply sit back and enjoy hearing others read poetry.
Even if you haven't been part of a poetry reading group before, come along, enjoy a coffee and see what all the fuss is about.

Be Connected
Leeton Library is offering free sessions in basic computing skills.
The program is called Be Connected - Every Australian Online.
Sessions are being held on Tuesdays at 10:30 am but are now booked out.

Researching your Family History?
Leeton Library has developed some brochures to assist Family Historians. They are available both within the library or available for download under our Local & Family history page. In addition Leeton Local and Family History Society rooms are located in the library building and are open each Thursday from 10 am till 2 pm for any queries.

The Library Catalogue can be used to search for library items.
Your User ID is your library card number and your date of birth in the format of ddmmyyyy.
Membership
Free to all persons living or working within the shire. There is a small fee to replace lost cards.
Visitors are able to borrow by paying a deposit upon application. This deposit is fully refundable when all library items are returned and borrowing is no longer required.
Loans
The loan period is 3 weeks. Items not reserved can be renewed for a further loan period.
We do not charge overdue fines. We rely on the community borrowing, renewing and returning in a responsible manner.
Renewals
Items not reserved by other borrowers and are not yet overdue can be renewed by telephoning the library, on this website via out on-line catalogue, in person or at the self-check station.
Inter-library loans
We can not hold every book ever published. However we can widen our chances of finding what you need by requesting it from another library. There is a small non-refundable charge for this inter-library service plus any additional charges the source may charge.
